Everything you need to know about claiming, testing, sharing and owning your AQ Passport.

Getting started

What is an AQ Passport?

It's an athlete's lifelong performance record. One AQ Score out of 1000, built from 8 vectors measured under a fixed protocol by certified testers, plus your raw data, percentiles and trend over time. Claiming a passport is free — verification is the step that turns it into evidence.

Do I need to be elite to test?

No. The protocol measures everyone against their own age, gender and sport cohort. A first-year U14 gets the same instruments and the same rigour as a national squad athlete — the score just tells the truth about where you are today.

What does it cost?

Claiming an AQ Passport, the readiness check and the Get AQ Ready program are free forever. A full 8-vector verified test session is a one-off $149. School, club and academy clinic days are priced per squad — talk to our team.

What's the difference between a free passport and a verified one?

A free passport gives you an AQ ID, your profile, the readiness check and the 6-week Get AQ Ready program. A verified passport adds the thing that actually counts: an AQ Score and 8 vector percentiles measured on a stated date by a certified tester, publishable to scouts and organisations.

How is this different from a highlight reel?

A reel is your best moment, edited. A passport is every vector, measured under a fixed protocol, on a stated date, by a certified tester — the same way for every athlete in the network.

What is the free 6-week Get AQ Ready program?

A six-week preparation block that gets you ready to test well — movement quality, output, and familiarity with every one of the 8 vectors before test day. It's free and yours right now: download the PDF, or join the waitlist and we'll email it to you.

Under 18 & parents

My child is under 18 — who creates the account?

A parent or guardian does. Every under-18 passport is parent-held: you build their passport, link the athlete, and control consent, sharing and any testing booking from your own dashboard. On the athlete's 18th birthday the passport transfers to them automatically and your access ends that day.

What can a parent control?

Everything that matters. From the parent dashboard you consent to testing, decide whether the passport is published to scouts and organisations, and choose what your athlete can see, edit and share. You can also issue your athlete their own login later and adjust those controls at any time.

What happens when my athlete turns 18?

The passport becomes theirs, immediately. On their 18th birthday the passport switches to an adult record, parent or guardian access ends the same day and the athlete disappears from the parent dashboard. The athlete is emailed a one-time link (valid 7 days) to set their own email and password, the record and its history stay intact, and the parent is notified that their access has ended. If that was your last linked athlete, you can then keep your parent account for another child or delete it.

How do I change guardian control or delete our data?

Guardian control can be transferred through the Guardian Transfer process, which is reviewed and audited by our team. To delete everything, use the danger zone in your dashboard — adults, scouts and organisations delete their own account, and a parent deletes their under-18 athlete's passport. A parent account itself can only be deleted once every linked athlete has turned 18 and taken over their passport, or guardianship has been transferred. Details are in the Privacy Policy and Privacy Collection Notice.

Waitlist & testing

There are no testing dates yet — what am I actually joining?

The waitlist. When a testing window opens near you, waitlist athletes get first pick of date, venue and time slot before anyone else. Joining is free, there's no card and no commitment, and you get the 6-week Get AQ Ready program the moment you join the waitlist.

Does joining the waitlist cost anything?

No. The waitlist is free and non-binding. You only pay if you accept a place at a testing event once a window opens near you.

When is the next testing window?

Dates are released city by city as venues and certified staff are locked in. Waitlist athletes are notified first and book before places are released publicly.

What should I bring?

Training kit, boots and runners, and a full water bottle. Everything else — instruments, protocol, certified staff — is provided on the day.

What actually happens on test day?

You're checked in, warmed up as a group, then moved through every station of the 8-vector protocol by certified testers — anthropometrics, strength, power, acceleration, max speed, change of direction and aerobic capacity. Trials are recorded live, your best-of-trials is used, and your passport is verified and published to you once the data is reviewed.

How often should I retest?

Every four to six months is enough to show a real trend without chasing noise. Trajectory is what convinces a recruiter — a rising athlete beats a static one at the same score.

Who books and pays for a minor's testing?

The parent or guardian, always. Under-18 bookings and payments are made from the parent dashboard on the linked athlete's behalf. Adults book and pay for themselves.

Your score & the 8 vectors

How does the AQ Score work?

Your AQ Score is a single number from 0 to 1000, built from your percentile across all 8 vectors against your own age and gender cohort. It's not a ranking against the whole population — it's a truthful read on where you sit among athletes like you.

What are the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Elite tiers?

They're bands on the same 0–1000 scale: Bronze below 550, Silver 550–699, Gold 700–849, and Elite 850 and above. The tier is a shorthand — the eight vector percentiles underneath it are what a coach or recruiter actually reads.

What are the 8 vectors?

AQ Passport is an 8-vector protocol: anthropometrics, grip strength, upper body strength, lower body strength, lower body power, acceleration, max speed and change of direction, with aerobic capacity measured as the endurance vector. Every athlete is measured on all eight, the same way, every time.

What if I score badly?

Then you have a map instead of a feeling. Your report names the two vectors holding your score down and what to train. Retest whenever you want; your passport shows the trend, not just the number.

Privacy & sharing

How do I delete my account and all of my data?

Open your dashboard, go to Sharing (parents: Consent & Controls) and use the danger zone. Type DELETE, confirm your password, and the passport is hidden from scouts, rankings and every share link immediately. You then have 30 days to change your mind — one click in the dashboard or in the email restores everything. After 30 days the profile, login, verified results, history and related records are permanently erased and cannot be recovered. Under 18, only the parent or guardian holding the passport can request the deletion — and a parent account can only be deleted once every linked athlete has turned 18 or guardianship has been transferred. Scout and organisation accounts have the same danger zone on their dashboard.

Who can see my results, and how do I stop that?

Nobody until you switch sharing on. Scouts and organisations only see a passport that has been published, every view is logged, and access can be revoked at any time. For minors, only the parent can turn sharing on or off.

Can I share my passport myself?

Yes. From your profile you can generate a share card of your passport in 9:16, 4:5 or 1:1 for social, or send a direct link. Sharing is always your call, and the underlying data stays under the same controls.

How do I access, correct or delete my data?

Delete anything yourself from the danger zone in your dashboard. For formal access or correction requests, email hello@aqpassport.com — we respond within 30 days, as required by the Australian Privacy Principles. Your rights, what we collect and how long we keep it are set out in full in the Privacy Policy and Privacy Collection Notice.

Scouts, schools & clubs

I'm a scout, club or federation — how do I get access?

Request access through Discover Talent. Applications are reviewed by our team; once approved you get a Scout ID and a secure activation link to set your password and search verified athletes by vector.

We're a school or academy — what does a clinic day look like?

One day on site, one protocol, your whole squad tested across all 8 vectors by certified testers. You get a squad-level report, and every athlete keeps their own passport for life. Talk to our team and we'll build it around your season.

What does an organisation actually get?

A live squad leaderboard ranked by AQ Score, every athlete's eight vector percentiles, and a squad-level report you can use for selection, programming and season planning. Athletes keep their own passport regardless of whether they stay at your program.

How fast will someone reply?

A real person replies to every question, usually within three business days. Partnership and clinic enquiries may take a little longer because we scope dates and squad size before we come back to you.
